Energy: Art Meets Science

 In the Galleries: A cross disciplinary exploration of the exhibition Energy: Art Meets Science that will explore how artists make visible  a selection of scientific & mathematic principles illustrated in the work on view .  

Curriculum Development: Working in groups of teachers from different disciplines participants will develop a lesson plan that look at a selection of art works through the lens of science, math and literacy.  

Art Making: Hands on art activity that combines discipline based word maps and visual elements as seen in works on view.  

Artist Demonstration: An opportunity to meet one of the exhibiting artists (artist to be determined) to learn how they “mine” the fields of science and math as inspiration for their work.
